Product Details:

Green Mountain Rangers, 1776 by Charles M. Lefferts is a detailed depiction of the uniforms worn by the Green Mountain Boys during the American Revolutionary War. The Green Mountain Boys were a militia group formed in the 1760s in the New Hampshire Grants territory, which later became Vermont. Initially, they wore no formal uniforms, often donning buckskin jackets and breeches. However, after being authorized as a regiment by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1775, and becoming part of the Northern Army under Colonel Seth Warner, they adopted more standardized military attire.
