Product Details:

The Emigrants by Frederic Remington captures a vivid scene of westward migration during America’s frontier era. The painting features an emigrant wagon train under attack by Native Americans while fording a river in the western frontier. In this calamitous scene, a a young male is seen helplessly fending off his attackers with a stick used to drive oxen, while an indigenous warrior positions his spear for the kill while riding at full gallop. The landscape is vast and sunlit, with distant mountains underscoring the isolation and challenge of the journey.
