Product Details:

The Battle of Bennington by Don Troiani is one of his more famous Revolutionary War paintings. The Battle of Bennington was a pivotal engagement during the American Revolutionary War that took place on August 16, 1777, near Bennington, Vermont. It was a significant victory for the American forces and played a crucial role in boosting morale and hindering British plans in the Saratoga campaign. Brigadier General John Stark, leading a militia force composed of American and New Hampshire troops, decisively defeated a detachment of British and Hessian forces commanded by Colonel Friedrich Baum.
